EPL: We are exposed – Arteta speaks on taking Man Utd job

Mikel Arteta, the manager of Arsenal, stated that he has no control over the opinions expressed by pundits and the media.

Arteta’s remarks came in response to comments from Manchester United legend Rio Ferdinand, who suggested that the Spaniard would readily leave the Gunners for Old Trafford.

The Arsenal manager emphasized that he does not dwell on opinions that are “not very positive.”

The 41-year-old said: “No, I think it’s part of of our job that we are exposed to the media, to the pundits. And they have their opinions.

“The only thing is that we normally highlight the ones that are not very positive.

“So we highlight a lot of the time when they say great things, make great comments and great points.”

Arteta’s current contract at the Emirates is due to run until the summer of 2025.
