A protest unfolded at the Ilorin Zonal Command office of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) on Wednesday.
Demonstrators voiced concern over the prolonged detention of former Kwara State Governor Abdulfatah Ahmed, now entering its third day. Ahmed is reportedly under investigation for alleged financial misconduct during his governorship.
Supporters of Ahmed initiated the protest in the morning, and it concluded around 12:23 pm following an address by EFCC official Michael Nzekwe to the demonstrators.
