Edema Fuludu, former Nigerian International, has provided guidance to the Super Eagles on how they can secure another victory against Ivory Coast in the final of the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations on Sunday night. The Super Eagles had previously defeated Ivory Coast 1-0 during the group stage.
Although both teams progressed to the AFCON final after overcoming South Africa and DR Congo in the semi-final stage, Fuludu, in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Lagos on Saturday, emphasized that Jose Peseiro’s side should approach the Ivory Coast clash with confidence and employ tactical skills to ensure success in the upcoming encounter.
”The match is going to be tough, no doubt about that, but the Super Eagles need to put in more confidence and play hard to beat them again on their own soil.
”Strength and tactical skills are needed, together with team spirit, to enable them to defeat the host country.
”I am hoping for the best; I am sure with hard work and confident play, victory is sure for the Eagles,” Fuludu said.
