Femi Gbede, a lawyer, has identified ten recipients of the 2023/2024 cycle of his law school scholarship initiative. This scholarship is intended for Nigerian students who are pursuing legal education at the Nigerian Law School.
In a statement released on Friday, he reiterated his commitment to enhancing legal education in the country, explaining that the selection of these ten individuals is based on his belief in their boundless potential for success with the appropriate support and mentorship.
“Each of them is unique, with compelling stories of grit, determination, and perseverance, even in the face of adversity. Please, join me in congratulating all of them,” he said.

Gbede, an alumnus of the New York University School of Law and Cambridge University practice focuses on all aspects of fund formation and other highly complex transactions.
While noting that nine beneficiaries of the scholars programme in 2023 would be called to the bar later this year, he added “the 10 Law School candidates will be assisted with funding, which covers fees and monthly stipends, mentorship and other support to see them through their time at the Nigeria Law School, the last step towards becoming Barristers at Law.”
The beneficiaries of the scholarship are: Faith Bello, Temitope Ogunsanwo, Tochukwu Agu, Margaret Arop, Sholafunmi Olaniyi, and Morenike Oyeleke.
Others are: Lotachukwu Udenta, Chimdiebere Anya-Awa, Adewale Adelaja and Kelvin Ofodile.
