The Supreme Court has adjourned judgment on the appeals made by the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and the All Progressives Congress (APC) against the election of Alex Otti as Abia State Governor.
The five-man panel, led by John Okoro, heard arguments from all parties involved and reserved their judgment.
Earlier, the Court of Appeal sitting in Lagos had dismissed petitions by the PDP and its candidate, Okey Ahiwe, and Ikechi Emenike of the APC.
Both the PDP and APC are seeking the apex court’s intervention to nullify Otti’s election under the Labour Party’s banner.
