The Jigawa Command of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) reported a fatal accident on the Birnin Kudu/Kano highway resulting in the loss of two lives.
Mr. Yahaya Ibrahim, the command’s spokesperson in Dutse, confirmed this incident to reporters. He mentioned that the accident occurred around 2:50 pm, attributed to excessive speed and a burst tire.
The crash involved a Wolkswagen Golf car carrying 11 passengers. Tragically, two individuals lost their lives, while nine others sustained varying degrees of injuries.
Ibrahim stated that FRSC personnel promptly responded to the accident within seven minutes of receiving the information. They swiftly transported the victims to the Federal Medical Centre (FMC) in Birnin Kudu for medical attention.
