Obi congratulates Nigerian professor appointed Cambridge varsity college president

Labour Party’s presidential candidate, Peter Obi, extended his heartfelt congratulations to Professor Ijeoma Uchegbu, a Nigerian-born luminary in the field of Pharmaceutical Nanoscience, on her appointment as the President of Wolfson College within the esteemed University of Cambridge.

Through a series of tweets shared on his handle, Obi expressed his delight in Uchegbu’s remarkable achievements, highlighting her groundbreaking work in nanoparticle drug delivery. He praised her as the seventh President of Wolfson College, one among the prestigious 31 colleges affiliated with the University of Cambridge.

Acknowledging Uchegbu’s current role as a lecturer at University College London and her global recognition in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM), Obi emphasized her extensive contributions, lauding her numerous awards, fellowships, and honors.
