The Zamfara State Command of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) has deployed its officers and personnel across every corner of the state to ensure the safety of lives and properties during the upcoming yuletide season.
According to a statement from the Corps’ spokesperson, Ikor Oche, Commandant Sani Mustapha emphasized professionalism and discipline in the execution of their lawful duties while addressing the deployed officers and personnel.
Mustapha assured the public of the Corps’ commitment to working closely with other law enforcement agencies to facilitate a smooth and incident-free celebration during Christmas and the New Year.
He reiterated the Corps’ dedication to upholding security standards and pledged to safeguard all law-abiding citizens, emphasizing a zero-tolerance policy toward negligence or dereliction of duty among the personnel engaged in this special operation.
The State Commandant encouraged the public to promptly report any suspicious activities or movements that could threaten the peace and security of the state.
Additionally, the NSCDC chief extended advance wishes for a joyful Christmas celebration to the Christian faithful and conveyed hopes for a prosperous New Year ahead.
