The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) portal is set to open for the registration of absconded Corps members seeking remobilization starting Monday, December 18, 2023.
This process, outlined in a statement by Eddy Megwa, Director of Press and Public Relations, offers a second chance to those who didn’t complete their service year during their initial national service mobilization.
“All Corps Members in this category are enjoined to avail themselves of this golden opportunity,” the statement said.
In related news, the NYSC in Katsina State recently granted an extension of service to 16 out of the 661 Corps members who concluded their service year on Friday. These 16 members had their service year extended due to violations of rules and regulations.
