Nollywood actress and media personality Moet Abebe has voiced her belief that online users, particularly Nigerians, exhibit a dislike for outspoken women. Abebe, known for her controversial statements on the Bahd And Boujee Podcast alongside reality star Tolani Baj, expressed that assertive women often face backlash on the internet.
In a recent interview on Cool FM Nigeria, hosted by former reality star Natacha Akide, also known as Tacha, Abebe delved into the challenges faced by women who assert their opinions openly.
Abebe said, “The internet in general or let me just say the internet in Nigeria. The internet, in general, doesn’t seem to like outspoken women.
“As long as you are a woman that is coming out to say this is what I like, this is what I don’t like, this is what I want, this is what I don’t want, the internet doesn’t like it.”
The host, Tacha, concurred with her, “Exactly!”
