The Ibadan Electricity Distribution Company has urged customers in Sango-Ota, Ogun State, to clear their debts in order to ensure improved service delivery.
Mrs. Busolami Tunwase, the Lead Media Relations at IBEDC, made this appeal during a meeting held on Monday in Ota, Ogun State. According to reports from the News Agency of Nigeria, Tunwase highlighted that the Sango/Ota district owes the company a total of N28 billion.
“We are still appealing to our esteemed customers to urgently pay their bills because what we have gotten is not much compared to what is still out there,” she said.
She noted that the customers should pay their debts to enable the company to provide the public with an improved and stable power supply.
Tunwase warned the public against assaulting IBEDC workers while discharging their duties or they would face the wrath of the law.
