Fulham’s midfielder, Alex Iwobi, secured a spot in the Premier League Team of the Week, marking his debut in the season’s selection.
Iwobi showcased his prowess by netting a pair of goals during Fulham’s dominant 5-0 victory against Nottingham Forest at Vicarage Road. He initiated the scoring for Marco Silva’s squad at the 60-minute mark, then contributed the fourth goal at the 76th minute.
With three goals in 11 league appearances for Fulham this season, the 27-year-old former Arsenal player has been making an impact. Raul Jimenez, his teammate at Fulham, also earned a spot in the selection.
Additionally, Liverpool’s defensive trio—Virgil van Dijk, Ibrahim Konate, and Trent Alexander-Arnold—were among those recognized in the Team of the Week.
