VON DG calls for media-military synergy for enhanced national security

Mallam Jibrin Ndace, the Director General of Voice of Nigeria (VON), advocated for a cohesive alliance between the media and the military to address Nigeria’s security challenges.

His call came following the inauguration of projects by the Nigerian Army’s Training and Doctrine Command (TRADOC) in Minna, Niger State.

“The task of securing Nigeria can be achieved through good reportage of activities of the military. I plead with my colleagues in the media for maximum cooperation to promote full activities of the Nigerian Army,” he added.

Mallam Ndace commended the TRADOC Commandant for inaugurating residential blocks aimed at enhancing the welfare of military personnel.

Furthermore, the TRADOC acknowledged the significant contributions of Malam Jibrin Baba Ndace, the Director General of Voice of Nigeria (VON), in promoting the Nigerian Army’s activities.

Representatives of the Chief of Army Staff, Major General Sani Gambo Mohammed, presented an award to the DG, acknowledging his pivotal role as a field reporter in supporting military operations against insurgency.

The Nigerian Army lauded the Director General’s exceptional dedication and unwavering support, particularly in the collective effort to restore the nation’s security and honor.
