Boomplay, a music streaming platform, has unveiled its year-end charts showcasing the most streamed songs and albums of 2023 in Nigeria.
Topping the list is Davido’s fourth studio album, ‘Timeless,’ emerging as the most streamed project in Nigeria this year on the platform. Following closely are Asake’s sophomore album, ‘Work Of Art,’ and Omah Lay’s ‘Boy Alone.’
Leading the most streamed song chart is Omah Lay’s hit track, ‘Soso’. Kizz Daniel’s ‘Cough (Odo)’ and Adekunle Gold’s ‘Party No Dey Stop’ featuring Zinoleesky secure the second and third spots, respectively.
In the gospel category, ‘Daddy Wey Dey Pamper’ by Moses Bliss takes the lead as the most streamed gospel song of the year. This is followed by another track by the same singer, ‘Miracle No Dey Tire Jesus’. Completing the chart is Ebuka Songs’ ‘I Will Pray.’
Additionally, Asake earned the title of the most streamed male artiste on the platform for the year, while Ayra Starr emerged as the most streamed female artiste.
