Alia forwards list of LG caretaker chairman-nominees to Assembly for approval

Five months after the dissolution of elected local government council chairmen in Benue State, Governor Hyacinth Alia has submitted a roster of 23 nominees for caretaker chairmen to the state House of Assembly for scrutiny and approval.

This information was conveyed in a statement by Alia’s spokesperson, Sir Tersoo Kula, confirming that the list had been dispatched to the lawmakers for the screening process.

The nominees include Hon. Guda T. Daniel for Vandeikya, Philip Achua for Konshisha, Alex T. A. Aka for Ushongo, Mark Tyhula Tile for Kwande, Francis Zanzaan for Katsina-Ala, Yakubu Ochepo for Agatu, Matthew Ochai Alidu for Apa, and Ire Arubi for Obi.

Also featured on the list are Hon. Oko Michael Etebe for Oju, Simon Unongo for Guma, Alexander Oketa Omaku for Otukpo, Charles Onazi Agbese for Ado, Okoh Joseph for Ogbadibo, and Omale Douglas Onyilo for Okpokwu.

Additionally, the nominees include Hon. Samson Adah for Ohimini, Agber Tavershima Abraham for Gboko, Roy Terna Ashirga for Tarka, Agber Iorkya for Buruku, James Dwem for Makurdi, Comfort Agbo for Gwer-East, and Henry Agba for Gwer-West.
