Appeal Court Judgment: Gov Idris promises never to disappoint Kebbi people

Governor Nasir Idris of Kebbi State assured the state’s residents of his unwavering commitment to fulfilling his duties within the confines of the law as their governor.

Addressing a significant gathering of supporters at the Government House in Birnin Kebbi to commemorate his triumph at the Court of Appeal in Sokoto on Friday, Idris conveyed his dedication to delivering more democratic dividends. 

He pledged to execute crucial developmental initiatives that would tangibly benefit the lives of the populace, especially those at the grassroots.

Emphasizing the significance of the Appeal Court’s decision, the governor highlighted the judiciary’s impartiality, emphasizing its fairness irrespective of tribal, political, or religious affiliations.

Idris commended the courts for their diligent and impartial service, urging them to maintain the momentum for the betterment of the nation’s democracy and the entirety of the country.

“This judgment has shown that the mandate of the Kebbi people was given to them. This is an indication that Kebbi people have a good mind towards Kauran Gwandu and that’s why Almighty God is on their side,” he said.
