Pep Guardiola, the manager of Manchester City, recently addressed inquiries from the media regarding his future with the team.
He asserted that his decision about his continuation at the Etihad side would be influenced by any potential repercussions should the club face sanctions for breaking financial regulations.
When questioned about the possibility of leaving the Premier League champions in the event of point deductions or relegation, the former Barcelona and Bayern Munich boss emphasized that he would consider such circumstances before making any decisions.
Guardiola replied: “It’s a good question. I will answer when I have the sentence.
“You’re questioning me like we have been punished. At the moment we are innocent.
“But wait and see, when the sentence is done and after I will sit and explain.
“There is more chance I will stay if we are in the League.”
