I am reaping fruits of my hardwork- Atule on scoring maiden Enyimba goal

Enyimba’s forward, Joseph Atule, expressed satisfaction, attributing his recent goal to his dedicated efforts and hard work for the team.

Atule secured his maiden goal for the reigning champions of the Nigeria Premier Football League during their 2-1 victory against Bendel Insurance on Wednesday. Chijoke Mbaoma netted the second goal, clinching maximum points for Enyimba in the rescheduled NPFL matchday one encounter.

Having faced challenges finding the net since his transfer from Lobi Stars to the Aba giants, Atule expressed his joy at finally opening his goal account for the club. He highlighted his consistent presence in all their games this season, relishing the moment of his goal-scoring achievement.

“I’m very happy and it is a thing of joy because I believe there is time for everything,” he told the club’s media.

“Despite the performance having played so many matches without a goal I keep on working hard and am very happy I was able to score again.”
