Arsenal could return for Aston Villa midfielder Douglas Luiz in January, says Fabrizio Romano.
Arsenal had three offers to sign the 24-year-old turned down in the summer window, with the final bid at £25m. The Brazilian has since signed a new contract and his transfer valuation has risen to around £50m.
Villa are not keen to let him go, but the Gunners want a long-term replacement for Thomas Partey, who has reportedly suffered a new injury blow, and Jorginho, who is 31.
90min has also reported that Arsenal scouted Real Sociedad midfielder Martin Zubimendi during the Champions League game against Benfica on Wednesday. The 24-year-old has a release clause set at €60m and has also drawn interest from Barcelona.
