Yul Edochie, a Nollywood actor known for his controversial views, has expressed his admiration for the Labour Party (LP) presidential candidate, Peter Obi, despite their political disagreements.
Edochie, who is a vocal supporter of President Bola Tinubu from the All Progressives Congress (APC), acknowledged that he holds Peter Obi in high regard. He also conveyed his belief that Obi would have his opportunity to run for the presidency in the future. However, Edochie firmly asserted that the upcoming eight years should belong to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
He expressed his confidence in President Tinubu’s ability to “reform Nigeria for the benefit of all Nigerians” during his eight-year tenure.
On his Instagram page, Edochie wrote, “I have a lot of respect for Peter Obi. I will never insult him. He’s a great Nigerian.
“His time will come, if God Almighty wills it. This time is for Jagaban. The next 8 years is for President Tinubu. And within that time, he will fix Nigeria for the good of all Nigerians.”
