Victor Boniface, the Bayer Leverkusen striker and member of the Super Eagles, is currently ranked fourth for goal involvement across the major leagues in Europe.
According to Opta, he has directly contributed to 14 goals so far this season.
On Thursday, he added to his tally with his second goal in the UEFA Europa League, a competition he particularly excels in. Interestingly, he received his top scorer award for last season on the same day, just before the Europa League group game where his team, Bayer Leverkusen, beat Qarabag of Azerbaijan with a score of 5-1.
The leading sharpshooter in Europe, with 21 goals involvement, is Harry Kane of Bayern Munich.
