AFL: Enyimba can beat Wydad in Casablanca – Ekwutoziam

Enyimba’s forward, Eze Ekwutoziam, is adamant that the People’s Elephant can overcome the first-leg deficit against Morocco’s Wydad Athletic Club.

The Nigerian champions suffered a 1-0 loss at their home ground, the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium in Uyo, on Sunday, against the Red Castle. Finidi George’s team now faces Adil Ramzi’s side in the return leg at the Mohammed V Stadium in Casablanca on Saturday.

To secure a spot in the semi-finals, Enyimba must score two goals without conceding. Ekwutoziam is confident that this challenge is within their reach.

He stated, “There’s nothing much to it, that’s football. If they can do it here, we can do it over there,” in an interview with the club’s official website.

The victor of this match will go on to face either Esperance of Tunisia or TP Mazembe in the semi-final.
