Former Nigerian football legend, Austin ‘Jay Jay’ Okocha, has showered praise upon Victor Boniface for his outstanding performances at Bayer Leverkusen in the Bundesliga.
Boniface, 22, made the switch to Bayer Leverkusen from the Belgian Pro League club Union St Gilloise this summer, and he has been in sensational form, netting six goals in just five league appearances.
His exceptional displays earned him the title of Bundesliga’s Best Player for August, along with the Rookie of the Month award.
Expressing his delight over Boniface’s burgeoning career, Okocha lauded him as an extraordinary talent, demonstrating that Nigeria boasts a wealth of gifted footballers.
