The petition submitted by Olajide Adediran alias Jandor of the People’s Democratic Party and Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour of the Labour Party (LP) was rejected by the Lagos Governorship Election Tribunal (PDP).
In the March 18 governorship elections in Lagos State, Jandor is contesting the victories of Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu and Dr. Obafemi Hamzat.
This was said by Judge Mikhail Abdullah in his ruling on the respondents’ objections in the case.
Judge Arum Ashom, the panel’s chair, had previously stated that the court will first rule on the PDP and its candidate before proceeding to rule on the petition filed by Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour, the Labour Party’s candidate for governor.
