The Lagos State Deputy Governor, Dr. Obafemi Hamzat, has made his appearance at the Lagos Governorship Election Petition Tribunal, which is currently in session at the Rosaline Omotoso Courthouse in Ikeja on September 25, 2023.
Our correspondent, who is present at the court, reports that Hamzat arrived at the courthouse accompanied by a security detail and some of his aides at approximately 9:20 a.m.
It has been noted that the tribunal is now in the process of delivering its judgment regarding the petition filed by the Labour Party candidate, Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour, and the Peoples Democratic Party candidate, Azeez Olajide, popularly known as Jandor, challenging the election of Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu.
