Nine members of the Ondo State House of Assembly have submitted a petition accusing the Deputy Governor, Lucky Aiyedatiwa, of gross misconduct. This petition was presented during an emergency plenary session held on Wednesday, September 20.
Following the presentation of the petition, the Assembly directed the Clerk of the House, Benjamin Jaiyeola, to write to the deputy governor, notifying him of the allegations of gross misconduct that have been leveled against him.
The emergency plenary was overseen by the Speaker of the House, Olamide Oladiji.
