Bandits Launch Deadly Assault on Dogon Noma Village in Kaduna, Leaving Two Dead and Three Abducted

In a harrowing incident on Friday, bandits targeted Dogon Noma village in the Kajuru Local Government Area of Kaduna State. During the attack, at least two residents lost their lives, and three others were kidnapped. The assailants also made off with six motorcycles, their destination remaining unknown.

Reports indicate that the bandits struck in the early hours of Friday, firing indiscriminately at the villagers, resulting in the tragic loss of two lives. Although the community sounded the alarm, help arrived belatedly. However, security forces eventually arrived on the scene.

A local source stated, “When the bandits stormed the community in the early hours of Friday, we raised the alarm immediately, but security personnel arrived later and managed to chase the bandits away. We later discovered two bodies and three individuals were abducted by the bandits. Additionally, the bandits made off with six motorcycles.”

The Kaduna State Police Command confirmed the incident, with its acting Public Relations Officer, Mansir Hassan, acknowledging the attack. He assured that law enforcement agencies were diligently working to secure the safe release of the abducted victims.
