Acting chairman of the Federal Inland Revenue Service is Zacch Adelabu Adelabu, a special revenue adviser to President Bola Tinubu.
The vacancy left by the retirement leave of the departing chairman of the commission, Mohammed Nami, whose term ends in December 2023, was filled by Adedeji, 33, who was the finance commissioner under former governor Abiola.
The certified public accountant, who is from the Ogo-Oluwa local government in Oyo state’s Iwo-Ate district, just received his doctorate from Obafemi Awolowo University in Ile-Ife, Nigeria.
