The Lagos State Government has officially released the results of the Year 2023 Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) and Placement Test based on Continuous Assessment Scores (CAS). This announcement was made on Friday.
According to a statement issued by the Director of the Lagos State Examinations Board, Orunsolu Adebayo, all candidates who took the examination are encouraged to visit the designated portal to access and print out their results for further purposes.
The statement reads, “Ministry of Basic Education through the Lagos State Examinations Board wishes to inform the Public and Approved Private Schools in the State to login into the Examinations Board’s Portal: https://examsboard.lagosstate.gov.ng with the Schools’ default/existing Username and Password provided during the registration of their Students/Pupils to print out the results starting from Friday, 8th September, 2023.
“The Lagos State Examinations Board wishes to state that the opportunity given to all concerned schools i.e. Public and Approved Private Schools in the State is to have access to their results online in real, eliminate the burden of coming to the Board for the collection of results and reduce the delay associated with that process.
“In addition, kindly be informed that the Re–Sit Examination for BECE will tentatively be held on Thursday, 5th October 2023 at designated Schools’ Centres across the State.
“The payment process for students expected to Resit BECE is contained in the Result Sheet of the affected Public and Approved Private Junior Secondary Schools.”
