Controversial Instagram figure, Idris Okuneye, also known as Bobrisky, has commented on the arrest of suspected homosexuals by the Delta Police Command. Bobrisky stated that they should face the consequences of their actions and criticized them for flouting the country’s laws by conducting a gay wedding.
According to Bob, they ought to have learned from other A-list homosexuals that swiftly relocated to other climes where they have the freedom to flaunt their sexuality.
Bob wrote: “Hey guys !!! I want to quickly address those set of guys who were arrested in delta. You see dis class is not actually meant for everyone. But I strongly believe you can learn from those Alist.
“Firstly there’s a law passed against you guys that you can’t marry yourself in dis country why d hell did you all call urself together to organize a wedding? That’s the dumbest news have read dis week.
“You all deserve how you all were treated sad truth. If you feel you are in love with ur partner and you want to be together why not relocate to where you are welcome?”
As for those tagging Bob to the 67 arrested homosexual suspects posted on social media, ‘she’ indicated he’d rather ignore them and focus on making money.
The 31-year-old added: “And to those who are tagging me well I’m now a change bob that now ignored so much rubbish on Instagram lately. I’m focusing on money not rubbish.” (Sic)
The police command in Delta on Sunday, arrested over 100 persons suspected to be homosexuals in Ekpan Community in Uvwie Local Government Area (LGA) of the state.
Addressing newsmen on Tuesday, Delta Commissioner of Police, Mr Wale Abass, represented by the command’s spokesperson, DSP Bright Edafe said the suspects were apprehended by a crack team of police operatives attached to the Ekpan division.
He said the suspects were nabbed during a gay wedding which they tagged, an “all-white party” at a popular hotel off Refinery Road, Uvwie LGA.
He vowed to prosecute the suspects in line with Nigeria’s anti-gay law which prohibited same-sex marriage in the country.
