The long jumper will be competing in her fourth appearance after she won silver at the last edition in Eugene, Oregon, but she said her eyes is now fully fixed on winning gold medal in Budapest this time around.
“I am going to the championships to give my best. I won’t disappoint Nigerians, and I pray that God should give me the strength to achieve my goal in Budapest.” Bruce said.
The Edo-born athlete is already in Budapest as Team Nigeria begin their quest for glory, and with cheering news of World record holder, Tobi Amusan cleared to defend her crown in the 110 meters hurdle, Nigeria can be guarantee at least two medals in Budapest.
