Habeeb Okikiola, a street hop singer better known as Portable, who has been at the center of controversy, has finally acknowledged his romantic involvement with Queen Dami, the late Alaafin of Oyo’s wife.
Previously, rumors circulated about Portable’s connection with Queen Dami, and these speculations have now been confirmed. This confirmation follows the emergence of screenshots showing their conversations, wherein they affectionately referred to each other as ‘my king’ and ‘queen,’ accompanied by love emojis.
Addressing his relationship with Queen Dami during an interview on the Honest Bunch Podcast with On Air Personality Nedu Wazobia, the self-proclaimed ‘Ika of Africa’ expressed that “after a king, comes another king.”
When asked about the rumor, Portable said, “Queen Dami has been my fan from day one.
“When I now heard of the king’s death, after king na king. You wouldn’t have seen me with her if the king was still alive. I no dey follow person wife.”
