Incoming report has it President Bola Tinubu met with immediate past Governors of Rivers State, Nyesom Wike, and Kaduna State, Mallam Nasir el-Rufai at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.
Wike sauntered into Aso Rock Villa at about 1:40 pm, el-Rufai entered the presidential wing about 2pm.
The essence of the meeting, iwitnesslive.com gathered may not be unconnected with some of the delays that has trailed El-Rufai screening while word was rife that Wike is lobbying for a more suitable ministerial portfolio after he was given a clean bill of health by the Senate.
It was also gathered that the president has prevailed on the nation’s upper legislative chamber to confirm el-Rufai after an alleged security report was sorted.
