Delta State ministerial nominee, Festus Keyamo (SAN), can now heave a sigh of relief after the Senate pardoned his past excesses, which put him in a bad light before members of the upper chamber.
Recall Keyamo’s screening was put on hold after Senator Abaribe and Darlington Nwokocha (LP Abia Central) slammed the former minister of labor for his refusal to appear before the 9th National Assembly.
Keyamo had immediately dashed to Aso Rock Villa and it took late intervention of President Tinubu before the session could continue.
It was reconciliation time when the session finally resumed as Keyamo apologized to the Senate and assured that the list of the beneficiaries of the N52 billion Public Works scheme was available for scrutiny.
He was then told to take his leave and sin no more.
