Less than 24 hours after popular singer Davido deleted a music video of his new signee, Logos Olori, praying and dancing with people dressed in Islamic outfits in front of a mosque, some Muslims i Maiduguri, Borno State were seen burning the singer’s poster.
Davido has come under intense criticism from the Muslim community in the country following the release of the video on his social media handle with most of them terming it as offensive. and disrespectful to their religion.
The singer consequently removed the video on Monday but that seems not to have assuaged the feelings of the aggrieved faithful as some of them were seen in the video burning the musician’s banner in Maiduguri.
