The passing of Hajiya Aisha Mangal, wife of the renowned business mogul in Katsina, has been described as painful and traumatic by Katsina State Governor, Malam Dikko Umaru Radda.
Expressing deep shock over Aisha’s demise, Governor Radda emphasized that her departure comes at a time when the state greatly needs the guidance, support, and prayers of influential women like her, who have positively impacted the lives of many Katsina indigenes.
In a statement released by the Chief Press Secretary, Ibrahim Kaula Mohammed, Governor Radda, accompanied by top State Government officials, visited Alhaji Dahiru Mangal at his Kofar Guga residence to offer condolences.
Governor Radda, sharing in the family’s grief over the loss of their beloved mother and wife, acknowledged that Hajiya Aisha’s passing is a significant loss to her immediate family, community, Katsina State, and Nigeria as a whole. He highlighted her selfless nature, deep devotion to serving her Creator and humanity, and recognized her as a woman of great influence.
While praying for Hajiya Aisha’s soul to rest in peace, Governor Radda urged Alhaji Mangal and his bereaved family to find solace in the fact that she lived a fulfilling life dedicated to noble and righteous causes.
Governor Radda advised the family to continue promoting her values and positive ideals, which she embodied during her time on earth. He stressed that this is the best way to honor her enduring legacy and immortalize her remarkable personality in the annals of time.
Hajiya Aisha Mangal passed away on Saturday, July 15, 2023, after a brief illness and was laid to rest on Sunday in Katsina, following Islamic funeral rites.
