Phyna, the winner of Big Brother Naija Season 7, recently shared valuable advice for young women, urging them not to rely on their boyfriends for financial support. Reflecting on her own experiences, Phyna revealed that she has never depended on anyone for money, even during her school days.
From her time in secondary school, Phyna embraced the concept of hustling and working hard to sustain herself. Despite having a father who is not financially affluent, she made the decision to take charge of her life and strive for success.
Phyna emphasized that it is crucial for ladies not to anticipate financial support or an easy life from men. Instead, she encouraged them to be proactive and self-sufficient, taking responsibility for their own needs and ambitions.
In her heartfelt statement captured in a video, Phyna expressed: “I don’t expect money from any man, I’ve been hustling for myself since secondary school. My father is still alive, he’s not rich, and that is why I have to work hard to sustain myself. No woman should expect a soft life from men, you have to hustle so that you can cater for yourself, but if he’s capable of giving you money, you can take it and enjoy it with him.”
