Senate President, Senator Godswill Akpabio says President Bola Tinubu’s leadership experience coupled with his decision to remove fuel subsidy is a clear indication that the future of Nigeria’s economy is in safe hands.
Speaking at a reception organised by Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu in honour of Tinubu, Akpabio stated clearly that he and other party members wouldn’t have contested with the President at the primaries had anyone informed them of Tinubu’s vision for Nigeria.
“With what the president has done in Lagos, we are assured that Nigeria is in safe hands.
“We didn’t know this was the plan you had for the country, we wouldn’t have contested with you at the party primaries.
“These few decisions you have taken has served as a catalyst for the country’s development,” he said.
