On June 26, 2023, the 2023 BET Awards took place, commemorating the 50th anniversary of Hip Hop. The event featured unforgettable performances by rap icons such as KRS1, Big Daddy, and Fat Joe, who graced the stage with their incredible talent.
Nigerian superstar Davido took the stage at the event, captivating the audience with his latest popular song ‘Unavailable’. This marked the second consecutive year for an Afrobeats artist to perform at the main event, following Fireboy’s performance last year.
Burna Boy received the Best International Act award, while Tems achieved the Best Collaboration award for the second year in a row, recognizing her contributions to Future’s track ‘Wait For U’.
