Chizzy Francis, a former contestant from Big Brother Naija Season 7, has urgently requested the immediate postponement of the ongoing reunion for the reality show.
It is no surprise that controversies have been swirling around the BBNaija S7 reunion ever since the former housemates started engaging in heated confrontations.
Within just four days, the reunion show has been filled with intense drama, with the most recent controversy unfolding between the well-known “Edo sisters,” Phyna and Chichi.
During Day 4 of the reunion show, which aired on Thursday night, Phyna accused Chichi of being an absent mother who abandoned her two children and her husband in Benin City. Phyna further claimed that one of Chichi’s children had passed away and that she had undergone multiple enhancements through BBL surgery.
The escalating conflicts and revelations on the show have prompted Chizzy Francis to call for an immediate halt to the reunion proceedings. The ongoing controversies and emotional confrontations among the former housemates have captured the attention of fans and followers of the show.
In response to the criticism she faced, Phyna clarified that her previous comments were not made without provocation. She revealed that Chichi had wished her death and directed offensive insults towards her, including derogatory terms such as abortionist, wombless, drug addict, junky, and more. Phyna emphasized that the show’s organizers edited out the parts where Chichi insulted her.
This incident unfolded after Chichi and Deji had an intense exchange, with Chichi accusing her former romantic interest of misleading her.
Expressing dismay over the toxic nature of the reunion show, Chizzy took to Twitter on Friday morning, June 23, and pleaded with the host, Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, to intervene and request the organizers to postpone the show. Chizzy’s plea reflects the growing concerns surrounding the controversial and emotionally charged atmosphere of the reunion, urging a reevaluation of the ongoing proceedings.
According to him, the reunion is affecting his mental health. Chizzy tweeted:
