Kamo, a Nigerian comedian also known as Ayoola Akinyoola, has made an appeal for support on behalf of veteran actor Ganiyu Nofiu, popularly known as Baba Alapini.
In a recent update on his Facebook page, Kamo shared that Baba Alapini reached out to him for assistance after witnessing the success of crowdfunding for another industry friend’s car. Kamo also mentioned that a fan had generously donated new phones to the movie veterans.
In a video posted on his page, Kamo presented one of the donated phones to Baba Alapini and took the opportunity to request financial assistance from his fans in buying a car for the esteemed actor.
Baba Alapini expressed his gratitude to Kamo for his kind gesture, sharing how both Lalude and himself had long desired cars and new phones before Kamo came to their aid.
The veteran actor, known for his role as a herbalist in movies, also used the opportunity to debunk rumors about him living in a clay house.
Kamo, through his official Facebook page, Ckamo Studios, captioned the video and provided an account number for those interested in making donations.
