President Bola Tinubu has appointed DIG Kayode Egbetokun as Acting Inspector General of Police following the retirement of erstwhile IGP Usman Alkali Baba.
Egbetokun’s appointment was announced in a press statement from the office of Secretary to the Government of the Federation on Monday.
Egbetokun who has one year to retirement is a former Chief Security Officer to Tinubu when he was Governor of Lagos State.
