Veteran actor, Lalude smiles when he finally receives his car, prays heartily [VIDEO]

Fatai Oodua, the esteemed Nigerian film actor known as Lalude, Adekunle Adatayo, has fulfilled his desire to become a car owner. After expressing his wish to his fans, he has been blessed with a brand new red Toyota Corolla, courtesy of comedian Kamo and an anonymous supporter.

Lalude, renowned for his exceptional portrayal of herbalist characters in Yoruba movies, expressed his heartfelt gratitude to his fans in a video capturing the moment.

He offered prayers for his benefactors, emphasizing his happiness in not having to ask for money due to health issues but instead receiving a vehicle, which has been a tremendous blessing.

On June 9, comedian Kamo, a member of the Nepa Boyz comedy group, discovered that Lalude did not have a car when he reached out to him for a skit production.

Moved by Lalude’s situation, Kamo made a video alongside the actor, explaining the circumstances and appealing to fans for assistance in acquiring a car.

Following the viral crowdfunding video, an unidentified fan generously contributed #3 million towards purchasing the car, while Kamo himself pledged #1 million.

This heartwarming development follows the recent gesture of a fan presenting a new car to veteran Yoruba actress Margaret Olayinka, popularly known as Iya Gbonkan.
