Jibrin Barau has emerged as the Senate Deputy President unopposed.
His emergence followed the nomination of the former Governor of Ebonyi State, David Umahi.
A member-elect, Salisu Mustapha supported the nomination.
Godswill Akpabio was earlier elected President of the Senate.
