Italy U20 head coach Carmine Nunziata was full of praise for Nigeria Flying Eagles following their emphatic 2-0 win over The Azzurrini on Wednesday night.
Still smarting from his team’s shocking defeat against the African side, Nunziata said some elementary mistakes from his boys came at a huge cost for entire team.
He then admitted that the pace and physicality of Flying Eagles gave his players a hell of time.
“It was a difficult match especially on a physical level,
“Nigeria was going twice as fast as us. We could have made better use of the spaces. Instead we made a lot of mistakes on a technical level and in the end it’s normal to get into trouble as the minutes go by.
“Now we need to regain strength, play a great game against the Dominican Republic and go through.” he told the official website of the Italian Football Federation.
