Hard times are here for erstwhile Super Eagles striker, Brown Ideye who is battling to come clean following a paternity case with Ukrainian beauty, Yana Voloshchenko, David Kabiyesi writes
No one saw it coming, even the war in Ukraine could not stop it when the social media was thrown into confusion on Friday after Ukrainian beauty, Yana Voloshchenko, stated in clear terms that she has a score to settle with erstwhile Super Eagles striker, Brown Ideye.
According to her, Ideye happens to be the father of her three children, and she swore to prove the kids fraternity for the world to see. Her anger was that she was abandoned by the Nigerian who once plied his trade with Dynamo Kyiv.
That was a huge allegation, and expectedly, Ideye who currently plays for Al-Yarmouk SC of Kuwaiti has been already fuming, threatening fire and brimstone.
“As a professional player, my routine has always been strictly centered around club activities, gym, and family, with little or no time and space for external socializing, talkless of having an undercover extra marital affairs over a span of time that can produce three kids with all the media attention on me as one of the biggest players then in Ukraine and subsequently at other countries where I also played,” he stated.
DNA Test To The Rescue?
Idey believe he is a victim of cheap blackmail, telling Nigerians to ignore the news, but no one except his wife dare believe him until it is proven otherwise considering lifestyles of sportsmen globally.
Infacts, Nigerian are eager to know how this will pan out. A sports fan, Innocent Samiyu believes anything is possible. He added that Ideye need to do more clean his name apart from talking to the press.
” If trually he once played in Ukraine, then anything is possible, I’m not saying the allegations is true, but Ideye must do more to prove his innocence, he told ieitnesslive.com The AFCON winner have a case to settle despite claiming his innocence.
“These blackmailers always show up in the media and send same petition to my clubs whenever I sign a new contract, as a means of pressuring me to contact them for settlement and ransom.”
“The few people that are truly close to me can tell that I am a family man. I love my wife and children,” Ideye stated.
It remains to be seen how Ideye intends to come out of this as the world awaits for more development in the coming days.
