While many Nigetians enjoy twitter for it’s swift response to breaking news, other prefer to lazy around Instagram, snapchat or Tiktok for the pictures and videos that comes in handy.
As for Nollywood actress and producer, Funke Akindele, her reservations for Twitter stems from series of backlash she suffer in the past on the platform.
Surprisingly, she was on Twitter today and was hailed by one her numerous fans who expressed delight at seeing her back on the platform.
When asked why she decided to go AWOL from Twitter, the mother of two maintained that he could not bear the insults on the platform, hence her decision to take a leave.
The fan wrote;
“Madam Funke, I site you… Longest time.. you run away from us abi wot happen?”
Funke responded;
“Dem too dey insult people on this app, so I stay off.”
