Boniface eyes Union SG glory ending

By David Kabiyesi

Union Saint Galloise forward, Victor Boniface says paramount before him now is to ensure the club ends the season on a high not.

Speaking with Het Nieuwsblad, Boniface maintained that he is not in any anyway bothered by several transfer rumors cycling over his head, but he is much much more focused on winning laurels at the club.

According to him, his agent is saddled with the responsibility of getting him a juicy deal, while he focuses his attention on playing on the field.

“I am also not aware of all those rumors – I do not understand French or Dutch. It’s worked for my agent. He is a professional and will update me if there is anything concrete.

“Now I only think about one thing: becoming champion with Union.”

Boniface has been in the preying eyes of suitors from different European clubs following his impressive performance in the Europa League where he ended as joint top scorer with Marcus Rashford on six goals.

He has scored 20 goals with 10 assists in 49 appearances for Union SG this season.
