Middlesborough striker, Chuba Akpom was the cynosure of all eyes after he won Championship Player of the Year award.
With 28 goals from 36 matches under the watchful eyes of coach Micheal Carrick, it was evident the Hale End Arsenal academy striker was going to make it a stroll in the park.
With this feat, Chuba becomes the first Nigerian player to scoop the award in the history of English Championship after his manager lauded his effort this season.
Akpom has also played a huge part in ensuring that Middlesbrough punches above their weight this season, to qualify for th playoffs.
He was also named in Skybet Team of the Season for his feat.
