Erstwhile Super Eagles skipper, John Obi Mikel believes all that is left for Manchester United to start rubbing shoulders with some of the best clubs in the world is to sign Napoli striker Victor Osimhen.
Speaking on a foreign radio program recently, the Chelsea legend declared in clear terms that signing Osimhen would be an icing on the cake for Manchester United
βHe would be the finished article for this United team, who play some really good football now.
βThey are back playing the way Manchester United should play, but they are missing that out-and-out-striker. If they could be able to go for him [Victor] and they could be able to get him, I think he would be the icing on the cake for them.β

“When you look at Victor Osimhen, he is doing well for Napoli, heβs playing well. Heβs going to be on the market in the summer, I think Man United is going to go for him.
βWe spoke about him before. He is doing well for me. I think Victor scores goals, thatβs what he does, he scores goals. Is he very technically good? Not as much, but he will get you goals for sure,” he said
Talking about Osimhenβs personality, Mikel said, βHe is a good boy, lovely boy, very respectful, down to earth, humble. I didnβt get to play with him in the national team for such a long time, but the period that I got to play with him, he was a nice guy.β he said
